View of a hut for the male head of the household (ku-okach), in this case with a quadrangular floor plan. Like other Opo huts, the structure is built with wooden poles and wattle-and-daub walls plastered on the inside. The thatched roof is conical. The doors of the main compound huts are usually framed with wattle-and-daub on the outside, as can be seen in the picture.
