The first delivery of timber arriving at the site from the sawmill is arranged in three piles: the foreground comprises planking of tshaptakirish (Samanea saman) for hull planking; the pile alongside the hut comprises [CHK] that will be used later in the build; the large pile close to the stempost of the chhot comprises spars that will be consumed as temporary bracing timbers (etc) during the build.
