Thinning the walls of a flower pot (glah pakao) in Krăngọ village

Ma Ly sits down on the floor with her legs stretched out and crossed in front of her. She put the pot on her legs and, with her right hand inside, she uses the kơnur, to scrape the inside of the pot. With her left hand, she supports the outside and feels the thickness of the walls so that she knows where to stop. She also has a kơnur made out of metal to scrape the pot if it has dried too long. But the metal one makes the surface uneven and more “ugly”, thus, she usually uses the one made of bamboo afterwards.
