These felt waistcoats are made by Salim Ali and hanged on the wall of the workshop. their styles are different. The waistcoats, Faranji, are very particular to Hawraman region. Sometimes, they are also called Kulabal, meaning short wings, this name is derived from the wings on the shoulders of the coat. Pastak is a waistcoat without the wings. Bothe styles are worn by men with traditional Kurdish attire.
