The apex (exa-gɔmɛ) of a basketry fish trap (exa) body is formed by a weaving process (exa gɔme lɛlɛ) that bundles bamboo (pamplo ti) sticks between twists of unpounded twisted and dried vine rope (adzɔ). In row nine (bottom), two sticks are bundled, followed by four in row 10 and eight in row 11. Akanyakrom, Banda District, Ghana.
