A kimono made of woven paper cloth (shifu), woven with paper threads/yarns made in Shiroishi. This is a lightweight garment, suitable for summer, or to keep warm in winter when worn under a conventional kimono . Detaill of threads/yarns is visible (silk or cotton is alternating blue/white in the warp and paper is in the weft). Folded hem and seam allowance (selvedge edge is visible here)
