Banda elders stand as they watch a builder roll up a traditional raffia door that was woven for demonstration purposes as part of a British Museum Endangered Material Knowledge Programme (EMKP) documentation process. A wood security door was later put in its place and the raffia door kept for education and display at the Banda Cultural Centre where two earth-wall structures were built as part of the EMKP project.
