Georginah Kabe prepares the skin for colouring, adding water and smoothing with a stone before adding dried and prepared mositsane to water and rubbing this onto the skin She then adds more finely powdered dye to work the colour in further Finally, the skin is rolled and wrapped and left for the dye to take effect
