Basketry : demonstration of weaving a sah rang (in miniature)

Ngân and Cécile are interviewing Y Ghăm Kmăn on the process to make baskets. While doing the interview, Y Ghăm Kmăn showed the process of making baskets. After the interview, he had to go to the fields, so the team stayed with Yo Khoanh, who continued the weaving. She explained that she sometimes helps YGK by weaving the walls of the baskets, as it is a long and boring task. Note: the type of bamboo (cây tre) used on this video is not the usual bamboo (lô ô). There is no difference in the making, but because cây tre is more rigid, the baset made out of it would break too easily.
