Basketry : demonstration of weaving the sides of a sah rang (in miniature)

Ngân and Cécile are interviewing Y Ghăm Kmăn on the process to make baskets. While asking question, Y Ghăm Kmăn has prepared the bottom of a small basket. He now flips up the slices at the corners of the structure, tying each corner together, so that they stay close. Then he ties up the rest of the structure together and weaves the walls.. Note: the type of bamboo (cây tre) used on this video is not the usual bamboo (lô ô). There is no difference in the making, but because cây tre is more rigid, the baset made out of it would break too easily.
