Dževad Delić flattening the clay further to make the base of the pot. He then use his one hand to support the other and defines the base size. He then adds height to the vessel by pinching on an elongated piecevof rolled clay paste. He repeats that process several times until the vessel has grown to the required height. He then cuts away excess clay from the bottom edge of the pot with a wooden knife.
