End of the pre-firing in Quế An village : Putting out the fire

After the pre-firing, the fire is first left to die out. Võ Thị Sương takes out the embers to cook rice paper with sesame seeds (" bánh trắng mè "), which we ate as a snack while waiting for the kiln to cool down. Once the fire is out, Giang Ngọc Xanh, putts out the embers with water and takes the ashes out of the klln.

Sau quá trình chồng lò (nung sơ), ngọn lửa được để cho tắt dần. Võ Thị Sương lấy than hồng để nướng bánh tráng với hạt mè (“bánh trắng mè”), chúng tôi ăn vặt trong khi chờ lò nguội. Sau khi lửa tắt, Giang Ngọc Xanh dùng nước dập tắt than hồng và lấy tro ra khỏi lò.
