This video follows AN12 and his son as they navigate the monthly food distribution process at the World Food Programme distribution point. After collecting their rations, AN13 prepares Masher Salun (fish curry), a simple meal for the family. As they cook and eat together, AN12 reflects on the deep nostalgia he feels for their Kheti (small farm) in Myanmar. He recalls how his children once enjoyed fresh vegetables and fruits from their land, a luxury they no longer have in the refugee camp. The couple also reminisces about their wedding day, a time of joy and celebration when hundreds of guests gathered to share in a grand feast-memories that now contrast sharply with their current reality. The documentary also highlights the cultural love for Paan (betel leaf) within the Rohingya community, as AN12 shares his own fondness for this traditional practice.
