Salim Ali uses friction and agitation on a round felt rug to make a stronger and better looking felt. Friction and agitation helps to shrink the felt to the desired size and shape. Salim ali uses soap and water to help him in this process. While visiting Salim Ali's workshop, the children of the neighbourhood become curious and came in to the workshop to see what is going on and they were observing Salim Ali.
