This video follows AN14 and AN15 as they prepare Goru Gosto (beef curry) with Bor alo (a special large potato), a dish that evokes memories of their homeland. Back in Myanmar, they enjoyed dishes made with Kuro Goster Duruz (special small chicken) and Raata Kuro Duruz (rooster), but these are now out of reach. "We only ate them back in our country before coming to the camp," Rahmat shares, highlighting the loss of familiar flavours. Even the Bor alo they use now is not quite the same-its texture and taste differ from what they remember, but they make do with what they have.
