Spinning cotton using a spinning wheel. The spinner is pulling the cotton tubes backward while turning the wheel at the same time. This action of spinning and stretching makes fine and strong yarn. Then, the spun yarn is wounded back to the wheel at the base. This tool is called lha (Thai - หลา).
