This video follows AN19 as she prepares Horul Maaser Salun, a traditional fish curry deeply rooted in the community’s culinary heritage. Using locally available ingredients, she skilfully cooks this flavourful dish, showcasing the importance of fish in Rohingya cuisine. Through AN19's cooking process, the film highlights the challenges faced by displaced communities in accessing fresh ingredients and how they adapt their traditional recipes in refugee camp settings. More than just a meal, Horul Maas Salun represents resilience, cultural identity, and the continuation of heritage despite displacement.
