It may happen that during the previous firing some part of the kiln get damaged. It is this important to maintain the kiln before every firing. It is Nguyễn Tấn Ánh’s task. He is currently securing the wall of the second level of the kiln. He has added a metallic wire all around the wall. He s now cutting wooden sticks that he inserts between the wires and the walls of the kiln to tense up the wires and secure the walls of the kiln.
