Making pot in Yang Tao village : preparing the lump of clay

After pounding the clay until soft, Yo Khoanh (on the right) and Mai Kim (on the left) gather it and roll it on the support until it forms a compact cylinder. In the background, LTS and CdF are talking : it took them 15min to pound the clay, but the more there is, the longer it takes. Because Yo Khoanh is making a big roasting pan, she has prepared a lot of clay, which took longer than usual. Mai Kim also explains that the clay is quite sticky (compared to usual), so it also took more time. But the quality is really good.
