Placing wall posts in a wattle frame structure

Master builder Osofo Kwame Mensah stands on a bench as he positions a vertical wood post on the back wall of a wattle structure being built on the grounds of the Banda Cultural Centre. He uses a cutlass to make a mark at the height at which a colleague will trim the post. As he does so, the builder uses bark fibre to tie another post to the roof joist.
