Yo Khoanh is doing the decoration on the neck of a suoŋ, a big pan made to roast coffee and rice (called suông war ba). This decoration is made while she walks backwards around the standing stool on which the pot is being shaped. It is made right after the shaping of the upper part. The pot has to dry for 2 to 3 days before she can shape the lower part.
