Preforming on leather hard clay in Yang Tao village : preforming and smoothing the bottom of a jar (yang)

Yo Khoanh preforms the bottom of the yang to make it regular. To do so, she pushes a bit from the inside, but moslty uses her fingers to flatten the outside of the bottom and smooth it. Then she smooths the whole external surface of the pot with her fingers, then with water and a bamboo slice. In the background, we can see Mai Kim smoothing the bottom of her steaming pot.
