After the preforming of the bowl, Y Gah has left a cylinder block of clay at the bottom of the shape to form the foot. Once the pot has dried enough to be manipulated, Y Gah tajes out clay from the inside of that cylinder with her thumb, to form a hole around 1cm deep in the center. This makes the foot of the bowl slightly hollow
