After a drying time, Võ Thị Sương sits again squatting in front of her turntable, on which she places a preformed pot. Then, she uses her middle finger and ring finger of her right hand on the inside of the pot to smooth out the upper part of the wall while her left hand serve as support on the outside. The left hand also pushes back to spin the preform and the turntable. Once she has made one turn, she smoothes out the lower part of the wall and the bottom with the external part of her index finger.
