Bùi Thị Lệ takes a large amount of clay and rolls it on a wooden board next to her wheel, to form cylinder of about 40cm hight for 15cm in diameter. She usually prepares several of those cylinder in one go. One of those cylinder is already placed in the center of her wheel. She will make several pots with one of them.
