Processing clay in Quế An village (2/4) : Re-humidifying the powdered clay

The powdered clay has been left to sit with water under a plastic sheet for a few hour, so that the water is absorbed by the clay. However, the water is not equally distributed in the clay: some parts are soaked and other are still dry. Here, Võ Thị Sương takes some dry powdered clay, mixes it with the humid clay and rolls them into balls of around 30cm in diameter. Those balls are not kneaded, only just assembled and the texture is still very light and soft. CdF has tried to make some of those balls but she failed. At the start of this video, Võ Thị Sương shows us how it has to be and tries to correct her mistakes. After some more tries, CdF managed to make those and could help the potter.
