Processing clay in Quế An village (4/4) : Re-humidifying powdered clay

The powdered clay has been left to sit with water under a plastic sheet for a few hour, so that the water is absorbed by the clay. However, the water is not equally distributed in the clay: some parts are soaked and other are still dry. Võ Thị Sương takes some dry powdered clay, mixes it with the humid clay and rolls them into balls of around 30cm in diameter. Those balls are not kneaded, only just assembled and the texture is still very light and soft.
