Salih Ohran uses his fingers to make the flattened clay mass round by using his other hand to turn the wheel faster. He then pinches the edges upwards so he can start adding to its height. He uses a tool to cut the top straight, then uses a wet strip of cloth to smooth the edges. He shapes the top of the pot and adds a strip of rolled clay (coil), reducing the width as he goes higher. A small jug is being made.
